City of BALLARAT opens our new "Freedom of Choice" FREE Camping site at Pioneer Park in West Ballarat on Saturday, December 6th at 1pm when the Mayor will cut the ribbon. 

CMCA Members have been working on this for several years and we invite you to all be there in your RV for our opening. A sizzle luncheon will be provided for RV'ers by CMCA.

The park will be for SELF CONTAINED RV'S and will be 48 hour maximum stay. There are NO facilities except rubbish bins. The Park will be monitored by CMCA Local Members.

Lovely grassed, firm, level, parkland suitable for all rigs of any size, but remember LEAVE no TRACE will be essential. Free Dump Points are initially available at four of our major Caravan Parks where a voucher must be filled in at their office. 

Easy access from the West, exit Western Freeway at WENDOUREE SIGN , Right onto Learmonth road to first roundabout and turn left into Ring Road; and from East exit freeway at ALFREDTON sign, left onto Gillies Street and first Right McKenzie Drive.
