Apparently Lions Park, behind the shops, just over the railway line, is now closed to overnight stopping. The surf club is apparently closed to campers as well. (22/12/2014)

Surf club is open on the eastern side. We stayed 2 nights there this week. Ranger comes each morning and put pamphlets on car to assist with dump,point advice and other free camps. There were about 8 vans there when we were there.
