I have contacted Pirelle Aust Marketing; explained the situation with their tyres & have offered to assist.
Firstly after my call they have contacted the two tyre centre's where I had dealings with the replacements to aquire the old tyres & have them returned to Sydney head office for inspection. 2nd, they asked me to have the spare replaced with a tyre of my choice.
3rd; email them all invoices.
4th; now I play the waiting game but all sounds promising.

I mentioned in the previous post I had 3 Pirellis fitted recently, and ordered a fourth from Bob Jane, Launceston for fitting early next week. I told the local Manager about this post and the bad run justcruisin01 has had. While admitting that he didn't have much experience with Pirelli light truck tyres, he said Pirelli is a world wide Company and he'd be surprised if the quality of their product was not up to expected standard. He further commented that tyre pressure maintenance was of prime importance as it is with any tyre. I'll keep you informed of my experiences.

Just a thought, but as they're a European Tyre, are they made to cope with Australian conditions ? EG. The European Tyre surely would not have to contend with the Road Temperatures we have in this country ? Or am I wrong ?
