Hi John, Nice pics, takes me back! We camped at the Nyah Rec reserve (Trotting track) in 2013 and loved it. Did you see the Bridge (near town) and the car ferry, further west on the Speewa Ferry Road?
Cheers,
Bob

Gday...

I have been making use of the camp behind the trotting track for six or so year although I am in the van park while working.

Interestingly, when I went through there yesterday there were NO campers near the trotting track which would have been the first time I have seen that.

There were only three vans on the banks of the Murray between Nyah and Wood Wood as well. Must be the heat cry

I have been coming through the north west of Victoria for many years - seen most of it but I am going to go and revisit the ferry and some of the other lovely old buildings near here.

cheers - John

Certainly is a great area, but can't believe no campers at the trotting track...Wow! More of your pictures from the area will be welcomed!
Cheers,
Bob

We were there earlier in the year, the Trotting Track, great place - and a visit to Nyah West is interesting. There were heaps of people when we were there.

I haven't swum in the Murray since about 1967 .... and I nearly drowned then. hmm

I am not a very good swimmer .. and I like swinging into creeks .. but not the Murray hmm
