Free camp for 48 hours.

Newish amenities block. 2 unisex flush loos & 1 unisex,disability shower. ( $1 coin for 2 minutes of hot water.)

Dump point & rubbish bins.

 

Short walk across a park to the town center.

North side of through-road round a bout.( North of tourist info center & timber Museum.

Hi Chopit,
Excellent description of where this site is.
Wondai Which is in South East Queensland ... So now we know which State.
So where is Wondai ... well it is just North of Kingaroy. ( Famous for Peanuts )
From that we can all visualise just where this place is.
Would like to see more post as informative as yours.

I have yelled at the laptop more than once " OK. But where the hell is it in relation to the rest of OZ ?" after ready some entries.

Wondai is near Kingaroy on the way to Goomeri and before you get on the highway to Ban Ban Springs. Hope that helps.

Camped at Wondai til tomorrow, right near the showers, just been to the bakery for an awesome pie, the butcher has some great specials and went to an old second hand shop that has nearly everything imaginable, this is a great town to visit, I also told every shop that we went into that we were camped in the free camp
