As we speak I am laying in a hospital bed after arriving in Emergency mid afternoon with severe back pain just below left shoulder. I have had it for about two weeks but didn't or wouldn't do anything about it but today got real bad.
I have had all the ticker tests and all OK. Further blood tests and Xrays done then admitted to what they call short stay ward waiting for results. 6 hours now and still no news. Bugga

Haha, lol, rofl, etc etc. Good on you Doug, gotta keep all things correct. But of course you can go off topic on here anytime you want to.
Now seriously, hope it all works out well. Wonder if you got a chill of some sort. Look after yourself, I will check in the morning for any results.
Sorry to hear you're dry docked Doug just when you are about to set off with the new rig. I hope the news isn't too serious and you can continue with your plans asap.
Cheers molluscan
Well, I got discharged just before midnight about 8 hours later.
The Xrays showed nothing and they are pretty certain it's muscular but if no better in a week or two see a GP to get ultrasound done. I must say that at no time did I think it was related to heart or anything like that but other things did go through my mind, as they do.
Bugger, I just haven't gad a good run with pain for about 4 months now. I know it will all come good but needs time. I must say though, that it is just as easy being "off colour" in my van as it was in a house. One thing is better about it all though, i am in the playground with heaps of great people.
Thankyou for your thoughts they are appreciated and I tell you that for free.
If you are ever on the Mornington Peninsula and need Emergency I can strongly recommend the Rosebud Hospital. The staff were great and as far as hospitals go, a nice place. THE PLAYGROUND IS BETTER THOUGH.

Good to hear you have been discharged Doug. A few Voltarens every now and then and a tea spoon of Epsom Salts each morning and all my aches and pains seem to go away.
Hope you are back to your healthy self soon. Enjoy yourself and take care..

Glad to hear it doesn't seem anything serious Doug, hope it resolved itself with a bit of rest and pain killers, plus a rub of some ache and pain lotion applied by one of the twins. I know a couple of people who had problems with Voltaren so take your Drs or chemists advice on using that, there are alternatives.
I reckon a axe will do the job. I got a call from a plastic surgeon at Frankston Hospital early this morning to come in and they will sort out a lump (Granuloma) on my finger I also had looked at Friday.
Surgery they say, it's just a little finger and not urgent so classed as Cat 1. 30-60 day wait they say. I say "No Way". I have much better things to do do with my time.
I will sort that out later so they gave me a letter explaining all for another Doctor down the track. I will check out going through My Private Health later.
The back is still painful so dealing with that. Oh well, life wasn't meant to be easy they say.

Glad to hear the back was nothing serious Doug... as for that lump on your pinkie, swing by on your way North and I'll have that little bugger out in a flash, you've seen how handy I am with an angle grinder
