A relaxing afternoon among the market gardens north of Adelaide

Adelaide International Raceway thumbs-up.gif Unfortunately a shadow of it's former self, but if promoters have their way it may get rise from the ashes phoenix_for_deasypheonix94_by_altairas-d4ctjz9.gif

Drag racing may not be so politically correct these days from an environmental point of view, etc no. But it is a lot of Fun biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

People looking at it from the outside are often surprised how family orientated it is and how close you can get to the participants.

I don't expect you all to agree or understand my liking for the sport, but I hope you enjoy some of my happy snaps. Some pictures are for atmosphere, and a couple I'm proud of cause I think their Crackers! biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Gday...

Unfortunately, it is impossible to capture the "atmosphere" with a still camera - particularly the noise

However, I really like pic 12 and 14 especially.

Cheers - John
