OK Papou, have a bit to learn about the whiteboard, so I'll redo the info here.
Merimbula has lots to offer. If you are into fishing as your profile picture suggests, you can take a game fishing/whale watching charter from there, fish the lake, fish the beaches to the north or south, or try the jetty. (If the locals are at the Jetty there is a chance of some Mackerel)! There is a great boardwalk that runs from the north side of the causeway/bridge. The port of Eden is worth a look, and while you are there grab lunch at the Great Southern Hotel. Really good food and you can sit out on their balcony. We would recommend a breakfast at the Waterfront Cafe in Merimbula overlooking the lake in town. There is, or was, a great Noodle Bar just down from Woolworths too. Historic Boydtown south of Eden is worth a look. There is a cycle track that runs from Merimbula all the way down past the Airport where you can stop off at the Golf Club for lunch or buy your oysters at one of the many outlets on that strip. Crickey, I'm sounding like a tour guide!!
The RSL and Bowling Club both do good meals generally. There are some good bush tracks to explore too out the back of Pambula etc.
Grocery shopping is best done at Woolies at Tura beach we reckon, only a few K's out of Merimbula.
Let me know if there a specific interests you have and I'll be able to help further I think. Are you in a caravan/motorhome? There are several places to stay, some good, some not so good.
Hope this helps a bit. Cheers, Brownie.

And a big thanks for your reply..
Hi Papou, sorry for the tardy reply. Been getting ready for our next big trip leaving mid way through next week......but , I Digress.
Looking at the photos you have shown, you need no help with what to shoot!! The coast and bush all through there will give you plenty of inspiration. My photos of the Bell Miners took over a week to capture, but worth the effort. Have fun, and hope we cross paths some time. We're thinking of a stop at Greens Lake when we leave next week to meet a few of the characters we see posting from there. Have a great trip yourselves, and stay safe.
Cheers,
Brownie.
