Getting ready to leave

Just got the 200Watt solar panel fixed to the roof of my camper :)  Having a service Friday and the cig lighter will be replaced with a heavy duty one.. just in case lol.  Im almost ready!  Still need a few things to get like shovel etc. maybe a portable loo but dont fancy carrying it around.  Has someone got a check list thingie they would like to post or send a link to?

Planning on going up to Waruma and see my scallywag friends :)

No date yet but will let you know.

Im starting to get excited

Good to hear Mezzie and as one of your scallywag friends you will certainly be welcome.

As far as check lists they are available from Google but in most cases are way over the top, Just think back to your Greens trips.

Good idea for a portable loo is line a fishing bucket with a plastic bin liner and use a foam swimming noodle as a very comfy toilet seat. Split one half of the noodle to the hollow centre so it sits nicely on the bucket. After use put the liner in the rubbish bin and your bucket is so clean it is able to be used to store other things in. Good value at less than $20. I so wish backpackers and other campers without loos would catch onto this idea. I'm sick of looking at their streamers and worse.
