What a wonderful week it has been travelling with Frangipani and other friends of mine Maureen and Graeme. Have seen the most spectacular country, had the best time, learnt so much and enjoyed being in the outback again. I love this country and look forward to continuing travelling and seeing more.
I will not go into all the details, as there are just too many to list. If you are interested I have an open FB page called Travelling with Miss Daisy, and I regular updates on that.
I will post a few pictures on here so it can wet your appetite. Do not believe anyone who tells you that there is nothing to see or do in Broken Hill. We were there for 5 days and each day was full. We stayed at Penrose Reserve at Silverton, great spot and well catered for. My advice is ignore all the doomsayers and just go and do it for yourself.
Great photos again Shekon - I like Broken Hill - found a photo of one of my late uncles at Whites Mining Museum (don't know if it is still going) - there was a display board of pictures of men from different mines around Australia - the State Coalmine in Victoria - either Wonthaggi or Kurrumburra - and there was my Uncle Ed!
Great spot - heaps to do.
