OH Jim here from Gary Kelly's Waffle. Thought I'd check in to say hi and see what Gary was always writing about. He didn't get to hit the road for real, but you all helped him stay focused until the end. I know he had as many friends on here as he had on his Waffle. We all miss him tons ....
Welcome Jim, thanks for joining us and the info on Gary's Blog. I kept an eye on it all the time. I also had planned to make contact with Gary on my way through recently but missed meeting him.

Hi Doug
Gary was a morning fixture here. I would read his latest blog every morning while sipping my coffee. I was really rooting for him to get better and to be able to take his PJ out. Still can't believe he is gone. Gary had a standing invitation to come to dinner here with PJ ... I guess he still does.
I have no camping equipment , but in other lives I owned a Starcraft popup ( it has a cool slide out) and earlier a 23' Minnie Winnie Class C Winnebago. We would take the Starcraft to up state New York to camp at Grass Point State Park near Alexandria Bay, NY. Alex Bay is in the thousand islands region of the St Lawrence River / Seaway. Was a really cool place. The Winnie saw trips to Tennessee and to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington KY. The KY Horse Park we used for a weekend camp out getaways, since it is about 90 minutes south of Cincinnati. We would keep the Winnie packed and primed, so all we had to do was to throw some fresh food into it and take off on a Friday evening.
Welcome to the forum Jim and you sure are right Gary had a lot of supporters here who were all rooting for him he will be missed by a significant number of people.
