Plantation Campsite nth of Halls Gap, The Grampians

We are enjoying a very nice camp site called "Plantation Campsite" about 8-10km north of Halls Gap. It is free.  Sensational view of part of the Grampians Range soaring to the west, plenty of spaces for vans, camper vans, campers and tents, long drop toilets and a bucket shower.  There is rain water and untreated creek water available too.  Wildlife all over the place. You will find it on Wikicamps, and ma.Wet and windy here at the moment but we are sitting it out as it is so beautiful. In our stay this week we have had a few well behaved school groups that have all hopped into their tents before we have gone to bed. (Well mostly). Plenty of firewood on the side of the road on the way in too. Lovely spot off season or not. Designated fire places all over the place.  Cheers Brownie.  PS.  I managed to get a pic on the post I made on the General Forum
