On the road again

Im on the road again, "Vincent" and me have just lefft Lake Elphinston, 2 hrs west of Mackay, Qld. After about 270 Klms of good but sometimes bouncy road we made it to Dingo and I enjoyed the best hot shower I have had in a month!!!!

The free camp behind the Caltex servo is just bare dirt but plenty of room. Heaps of road trains come and go all the time but not a problem.  Tomorrow we are going to Duaringa, about 36 Klms down the road. Will need an early start !

Ran into Spida and her grand daughter back in Elphinstone was good to catch up too.  See ya all down the track...Sarg.

Hi Sarg, good to know that you and "Vincent" are still tracking along together and it seems, quite happy with each other's company. You must have racked up quite a few k's together by now, keep up the good work. We do envy you, we're still confined to base for the time being, might be for quite a while too unfortunately. Safe travelling Sarg, best wishes.....

Annie

I heard you were at Elphinstone - great place isn't it? Hear a new amenities block is happening out there, will make a big difference. Don't suppose the old donkey boiler is still there, it was always out of order.

Duaranga is a good spot - pleasant place to camp up, almost parklike.

Happy travels.
