On the 14 November 2012, we were lucky enough to see the Solar Eclipse at Ellis Beach, north of Cairns in Queensland.
It went total darkness in the morning for approx 2 minutes, it was total quietness, even the birds stop singing. The only thing shining in the sky was the sun around the moon
