We visited Hahndorf last week - the oldest surviving German settlement in Australia and a great tourist attraction.
Great place to spend a day there. It has lots of cafes and souvenirs & craft shops. We even had a German Feast for 2 at Hahndorf Inn which took us 2 hours to eat it all. My husband Dave even drank a 1 litre of German beer.
A must place to visit.

Nice images Lee-Ann. Is the old Dutch style windmill still standing at Harndorf? Haven't been there since the 70's. We drunk 2 litres of wine with our lunch at the Inn back in the days when everyone drunk & drove. We noticed that you've been ''directed'' to the Sharing Photos part of the Forum. Keep posting your travel shots & thanks for your positive comment on our bird images.
