A bit further south, just south of Condamine, Caliguel Lagoon is a pleasant camp spot.

Hi Dave, I have been told that it's very expensive at Roma showgrounds to camp, where are you now?

Didn't think much of Roma so kept going on to Surat camped by the river a freebie . Now at lightning ridge for two nights. Gotta sort some things out another awning gone wrong went to put it in yesday at lake Maraboon bloody thing would not go in as it is powered . With the help of Garry ( C1) on forum we wound it in by hand. That's both awnings stuffed now. Thank you Gary for your help mate. I still got me Red that keeps me going ???

Maybe look into getting them swaped over to the manual awnings Dave. I think I would be suggesting that to your insurance mob. Not sure if they could be fitted to the 5th but worth looking into perhaps.

I have stayed at that place in Surat, nice spot for sure. There is actually a donation box in front of the toilet block if they are still there.

Keep Safe out there.

I was on other side of river Doug , could look at the green grass on other side. Kept raising me glass at them on other side???  I've thought of that the manual awning would be a lot better
