Looking at buying a 2009 Suburu Forester 2.5L.  What sort of van can I pull with this size car.  Considering a pop top A van?.

And it's a welcome from us two 2 alas I can't help with your question I would only say also ask about fuel consumption as generally speaking petrol engines burn more fuel than a Diesel engine
I am assuming that a forester is a petrol .

welcome Djinn to our forum we hope you enjoy your time with us and that you contribute to the forum, as for the size of the van you can tow with the Subaru it will be dependant on the legal limit that your car can tow which you can usually find in your owners manual but the subaru site states maximum tow weight is 1500 kg with a ball weight of 150kg so that would be a van around 16 feet but always check the compliance plate on the van as not all salesmen will tell you weather the van is suitable for your car to tow.
