I am new to this so I hope someone is able to help me. We are getting ready to set out on our around Australia trip hoping to take at least 5 yrs or more doing so. We have sold up all our goods & at present renting till we go. We were just wondering how things go regarding mail, drivers licence & voting etc when we will have no mailing address. Can someone let me know how we go regarding this.
lots of info in here if you do a search. Ask a question if you cannot find an answer by searching. Lots of helpful people in here only too willing to assist.
The polo shirts in the shop are really good quality, look great and are very comfortable too.
enjoy the playground we call Australia.
I am sure the chief of cheer will be along soon to welcome you as well.
You may get a better response to you questions if you copy and paste them into the general part of the forum. We have different sections for different topics so they are grouped together for everyone to see.

Hi Pearla
We have been travelling since June, and we have a good bank who will forward our credit/debit cards to the closest bank to us at the time.
Insurance policies require a mailing address, but will also send a copy of the policy through email. We have a very good friend who has agreed to forward any mail that we need forwarded.
As far as drivers licenses go, you can renew for up to ten years, so renew it before you go. Motor vehicle registration can be done via an app called EzyReg.
Life on the road is great! I hope you enjoy your travels. :)
We rent our place as well and we just changed the POSTAL address eg car registration, insurance to our mother in-laws place. She post our mail about 1 every 2 months to us. For voting we took our names off for local, state and federal electoral rolls. No more voting.
