I had one of those sleep apnoea tests on 5/11. They wire you up to a box which is strapped across your chest & then they send you home to sleep & everything gets measured & recorded. You look like & feel like a suicide bomber. Well, when I went in for the results on Monday I was told I had won the dubious prize of being their worse case. Apparently I stopped breathing 200+ times, some times for up to a minute & my oxygen level was down to 58%. So now I am waiting for an appointment at Nambour hospital to get a magic machine to fix it all. Although I was put in as high priority first available time is 17/12. Alice
Alice, best of luck and may the magic machine do it's job. High priority in medical care, not sure what it means any more. Will they contact you if an earlier appointment is available?
Alice - hope you get relief with the magic breathing machine, I know a lot who have them - you can get 12v ones - that;s what a lot of truckies have I beleive.
Hope Keith is looking after you well.
Take care both of you
