Hi Hendo,

looks like you got a long noise sweet lip there son. Good one.

When I was a young lad I visited the swains twice with 9 mates in our fishing club.

We would charter the new Horrisons fishing charter boat, out of Yeppoon for a week at a time. great memories and great fishing.

Jim

Meant to download this in hook line sinker section but anyway Jim, it's a Red Throat Emperor commonly called a sweet lip and boy can they pull! Went on my first and to be my only trip back in 1982...."I'll just go once darling, just to see what its like." 14 trips later "darling" has got out the calculator, 14 trips x ex amount........ "that's it, no more trips, you can take me somewhere for a change!!"

Man do I miss it.

Hi Hendo,

Well you could always try Exmouth WA with us. Niggaloo reef  runs from Exmouth to Coral bay 150km. and is a fringing reef that starts from the shoreline seawards up to 1km.

Top fishing inside the lagoon to  offshore.

Darling is most welcome too, Lambie never shuts up! I'll cop a sinker for that comment.

Thanks Jim, unfortunately "darling" had a very short battle with liver cancer last year and lost. We were planning a trip to WA, particularly around Exmouth, I've seen many video's on the fishing there.

It's still on my bucket list, just have to get my life into order first and then head over.

Tight lines.
Hendo
