I have fitted two 80 watt panels thinking the original was twin 80's .. Anyway we fitted two extra 80 watt panels to what it seems are 2 X's 120 watt panels.. Upgrading the wire size. The regulator is 30 amp so I'm at my limit it seems.. Even my past I was line worker my hips don't allow me to climb on roof.. ok on ladders though.. I bought some alloy from Bunnings for $7.50 and pack of 20 small bolts. 25mm stainless wood screws to hold fixture to roof..I screwed the stainless screws in then removed leaving one in on another bracket so it was aligned. Then applied plenty of Sikoflex lowered panel nd screwed half way. Did the same on other side .. Then tightened screws JUST firm.. I left it 30 min so Sikoflex firmed up as I didn't want to push it out.. Working ok.. I noticed void above fridge so filled this in with some alloy panel. The Sikoflex was cleaned up.. Notice it DID make better drought. Much less hot air coming through so vents work like a chimney..

Well ?? I have to say .. The extra 160 watt panels I fitted adding to the 240 watt has Helped big time . I have even used the washing machine through inverter and batteries still on light charge in the morning ., just start generater to heat water for coffee . The 60 litre Fridge / freezer is holding well .. All good in SA Ciduna heading slowly to broom & around this great country .
