Rosemary & Brian are pleased to join this group of Happy Travellers.
We have owned caravans for many years and now have a 18ft Franklin Arrow and are towing with an Isuzu MUX-LST. Last year we had a 10 week trip over 10,000k all in Caravan Parks and all paved roads. 2016 we are planning a 7 month trip around Oz with some 'Free' camping.
Some questions are:
Do we need water purifier? Do we need Solar Panels with extra battery? How far in advance do we need to book sites when in Northern WA?
Thank you in advance,
Rosemary

Hi Rosemary welcome to the forum, a water filter is always a valuable asset especially when traveling in outback areas, I don't have solar panels but I am sure there will be others who have heaps of experience in this area.
You will get more responses if you post technical type questions in the techies section.

Welcome to the gang Canuck and Kiwi, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Solar Panels are a must if you free camp and a good water filter is also a must have item. I use the B.E.S.T. filter. Most good caravan accessary places have them and also EvilBay. Around $110 but good value.
Keep an eye out for KFC cos he says he hasn't got any but he does have pink shirts. You need good sunnies when he is around.
