This park is well priced, with clean facilities and grounds. A fisher persons paradise. You would need to book in the cooler months, as the regulars book from year to year. Although it is a busy park, it is a lot quieter than the Red Claw trappers at Fairbairn Dam. It is well worth the visit.
Hi Darmc - thanks for sharing that - but would help some if you said what state it was in - and what you call a good price, may be different to others.
You might also put the information into the Free/Budget Camp Spots in the forum - lots of people look there, and it is in state order as well.
Enjoy what the forum has to offer.

Does $30 for 2 per night represent good value? ........... Probably not and terms and conditions seem a bit harsh.....looks more like a place where they cram as many in as possible.......
BTW its in Qld

Yes Lucinda Point Caravan Park is in Queensland, and we are happy to pay for the facilities we use. Due to the heat and threat of unfavourable weather conditions, most people who live in the tropics take holidays during winter and unfortunately for us, it is in the peak tourist times, so we have to pay higher tariffs. I have visited so many beautiful places in NSW, yet it still amazes me the large number of southerners coming back year after year, so glad they enjoy this beautiful part off Australia. We are travelling back to NSW in October and my research has not found too many parks under $40 per night, but I am not complaining.
