The forecast is .... newbie here

G'day all

I've been lurking on this website and forum for a few weeks and thought it was about time to introduce myself.

I'm recently retired after 38 years as a weather forecaster with the Bureau of Meteorology. My wife is also retired having worked as a nurse in special care nursery.

Once we take delivery of our new rig we are keen to get out and explore more of this wonderful country. By joining this forum I'm hoping to pick up some helpful tips and advice from the seasoned members of this group.

Welcome from us Weatherman,

Lot's of really helpful info in here just do a few searches to see what has already been asked about. If you don't see what you are looking for then pop a question into the appropriate section of the forum so that your query will be seen by those members who regularly visit the various sections.

We are a pretty happy lot generally and there is usually someone in here to chat with.

The "chief of cheer" might be along soon to welcome you also. he is the fella with a couple of squaws to keep him company as he wanders around this country. He may mention that I have a pink shirt but let me tell you it really is his bloodshot eyes usually after a happy hour with his mate dave.

Don't forget to post some pictures of your setup when you get one cause we love pictures of rigs, in the "show us your rig" section.

exciting times to be had searching for a good setup.

Frank
