The trip has begun

image.jpg

G,day all, my solo nomad travels started on April 25th after selling up and quitting my job at Useless Loop (shark Bay w.a.) First stop was just down the road at Carrarang station for a few days winding down.i then stocked up supplies in Carnarvon and headed inland to Gascoyne Junction for the night. Next I proceeded to Mount Augustus and the back way to Paraburdoo via Ashburton Downs to visit friends.

Next stop was Onslow on the coast to visit more friends and do some fishing, which was very good. At the moment I am at Barn Hill station ,south of Broome for 3 days, before heading northwards to Kalumburu and other spots in the Kimberley, probably getting to my mates place in Darwin sometime in June.

This is the life alright,   Safe travels everyone.     (Not a lot of travellers about so far)

cheers, sparra

Keep the info coming as it is always good to read about other members journey's.

Keep Safe on the roads.

G'day sparra,

Seems you're going around in a clockwise direction, I'm planning to leave SE QLD at end July going anti-clockwise .. might end up crossing paths somewhere.

How was Barn Hill station ? I'm planning to be there around September, then Mount Augustus a few weeks later.

Stay safe on the roads and enjoy the experience

Cheers,

Andrew
