Hi all, my first post here. We have bought a 2000 model Mercedes Sprinter LWB minibus which we are in the process of stripping out and hopefully converting to a motorhome. A basic motorhome. Would anyone here know how to remove the plate you step on to get in the sliding door? Have taken out two bolts from the top, but it's still firmly fixed, and can't really see how it is attached. Thanks for any input.
Not too sure but if it is like the front door steps there are some screws hidden under plugs in the tread area. Clean the tread area and you can see them, about 10 + mm dia. Pick out the plugs to get to the screw heads.
