I am a solo traveler currently in the Mount Morgan Motel and Van Park on the corner of Showgrounds Road and the Burnett Highway. Although I am only 50m from the highway, it is quiet and the facilities are clean and there is a dump point here. Most of the people here are permanents but are quiet, clean and polite and not at all like any of the comments I've heard about permanents in the past. Staying here is 30 percent cheaper than the other park (which I have also stayed in) and the only thing they have extra is a camp kitchen where you wouldn't eat with previous knowledge.

If you are on a pension, as I am, the Mount Morgan Motel and Van Park is very good value for money and I would recommend it to all travelers as a good stay, either over night or longer. I will be here for another three weeks before I head for Normanton.
