As we generally know where we are going - generally to see family in the cooler states & generally in winter(??), I guess we're not really "Nomads". We're "Travellers", grey yes & don't feel that we're old (yet). I'm 69, Pat is 73 so as you see we're just older teenagers!
I joined the Grey Nomad's website because I need some technical answers & a query the other day placed me on to one that was answered by a familiar name - OzJohn. We were both members of a Ninemsn site that closed down approx. 9 years ago.
I drive a 2004 Nissan Patrol 42.TDi & tow a Jayco Eagle Outback camper (it's only slightly used) but the only state, it hasn't been to is Tasmania!

Welcome to the gang Warren-Pat 01, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Even though you and 'Cougar Pat' don't class yourself as GN's you still enjoy the travel so keep on keeping on.
Make sure you check out all the different sections of this great forum and ask any questions in the apprpriate one. Like those "technical answers" going in the 'techy" section.
Even though I never met him I spoke to Oz John many times. In fact I had arranged to meet up with him but was the week after we lost him. Great caravan knowledge gone. RIP John.
