Hi, glad you asked the compressor question. l am connsidering a purchase also. I am still a learner grey nomad here, so excuse me if this sounds a bit dumb. So you now have a compressor to pump up a tyre I assume, so does that mean you also carry all the tyre removal levers, bead breaker, spare tube and puncture repair kit etc. Or is itjust for pumping up the tyres after you have lowered them for some off road sand hill fun?
One other item i would add is a tubeless tyre repair kit. I have one and it got me out of a hole @ Curtin Springs NT. I didn't have to take the tyre off.
Yep the twin compressor works fine . Small and light enough too ! I have 19.5 tyres and 90lb pressures . The last 10 - 20 lb takes a while . But it gets me out of trouble if required . I have a plug type repair kit that some will say is illegal . Maybe ?? But what the hell are you going to do 1000 Ks away from tyre shop ?
when I was in Newman WA saw a quad bike tyre off a geologists quad with 32,yes 32 tubeless plugs in it and no leaks showed up in the water test tank so they must work ok to get you out of trouble
i bought a compressor from their Lilydale store over 12 months ago, very happy with it, picked up a special price, they have just finished sale but give them a ring.

Luckily I picked one up from a OP shop in Grafton NSW. I plugged it in and suspected it was leaking internally. Got it for $5.00 after showing staff this. I found that a aluminium air pipe inside had a pin hole so I cut it out and rejoined it. It is a metal compressor with a belt driven cooling fan. It is going great and now I can keep an eye on my tyre pressure. I have 12 tyres lol. Bus with trailer and car.
We have the plug type repair kit and a single cylinder 12V compressor.. Used the compressor a few times to get back to road pressure but the plug kit never. I guess Im luck as we have only had one flat tyre (I let the air out when I fitted the pressure monitor sender.

Over the years I have had a few different types of compressors . Some last some don't big problem I found people use them then for a wile they don't and then when they go to use it again there stuffed . Then the next time the go to use them . I put one on my suck truck now it gets used every day sometimes it come in twice a day. So in my books it's a good one . And it's from Aldi but I noticed jay car have them now . And a good price .
