My last 5 cars were Jeeps, never had any problems that's why I continue to drive one.

Bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland three years ago. Loved it. Towed the van beautifully. Traded it on a new one this year because I wanted the eight speed box. Tows even better than the other one. Highly recommended.

What specs are the diesels ? Seems they have stepped there game up in recent models . Some early issues where silly electrical . But frustrating to owners if not fixed properly ..

Nice to see a site that doesn't condemn Jeeps. My 2013 GC is great, tows our 2.5 tonne Supreme caravan easily, averaged 13.9 l/100km on our last 12,500km excursion into SA and NT (Mt Ive station, Chambers Pillar, Oodnadatta, Uuru, kings Canyon, Palm Valley etc) Just turned over 60k km, have replaced the original tyres but no problems to date.

If you do go the Limited, consider swapping the 20" wheels for the 18s. Apparently they are better for heavy duty work and if you'd like to go offroad. I didn't think of that when I bought mine.

I did the same when I ordered my new Jeep. Dealer swapped the 20"s for the 18"s from a Laredo he had in the showroom. No charge, no problem. The choice of 20" tyres is a bit limited compared to 18". I believe 18"s wear better too.
