Hi all. I have just put a 200w solar panel on my caravan roof. Question is will a caravan cover scratch or damage it in any way ? When the wind blows you often see covers lifting and moving. Just thinking of options and precautions..
The solar panel is constructed on the back of a piece of a glass pane. A bit tougher than window glass. So consider what you do as though it was a window. Not much of a problem with a standard soft cover. Relax
People also say they will trickle charge the battery through the cover too. I cannot confirm that !
