I do NOT want to re-ignite the grey water debate as such. However the system fitted to the "Jayco Outback" is now well over 2.6yrs since fitting and beyond warranty////.I cannot speak highly enough of the benefits, as well the number of enquiries we have had in CP parks and request to climb under to take photos. But above all I just love the ability to clean the holding pipes with such ease and get rid of any accumulated muck/smell etc. Bet you cannot achieve the results with additional water tank conversions or rid the system of smells???
approx 19 litres per metre I think, volume of a cylinder calculation is ( "pye" times the radius squared, times the length or height), id of these pipes is 154/ 155mm so radius is 77mm. Make allowance if decimal point ends up in wrong spot. All care here, absoluteley no responsibility. Cheers Craig
A simple storage solution John, and a great way of holding grey water without fitting an actual tank. Any reason why you set up two storages. Could it work with both tubes connected at one end (U shape) or three tubes (W shape) making one storage unit and have ALL grey water feed in and have one discharge tap only? Just thinking out loud.
Cheers,
Richard

I think he has made each tube with a removeable end so that the system can be easily cleaned with a hose.
great handle by the way Dick0

This is not my design or template. I found it in a Motorhome & Caravan Mag some years back. The plumbers at Mildura (house sitting) were provided with the mag and request to put the materials together.
However, after 2.6 years I can tell you the difference smell/colour of grey water despite wiping all our plates/saucepans etc the grey water from the sink and basin are the worst.
Consequently we can dispose of the smelly stuff more often with the back pipe taking the shower water only. We can hold both pipes/tanks for 3 days showering every day. There are other features of the system. Leave No Trace, Park on Driveway of our daughters inner City home, as well park in a free camp with out discharging your overnight water creating a mess for the next camper.
This system is a WIN WIN alround and it is NOT my creation?????
BUT BEST OF ALL you can clean it out regularly and it well smell like roses/pineocleean/////
Craig sorry for not coming back to your question much earlier than now.
The answer is yes. The taps are opened and we have a double clear plastic arrangement and connections to the normal black hose.
In normal circumstances when some one is having a shower and the water may back up the black hose causing a delay with this system that does not occur as the back pipe initial takes the shower water before flowing freely via the black hose.
