Thermal / Radiator Heating

Hi Everyone,

I am providing the following information, for those interested, in systems based on thermal radiator heating.

There is not much information on these systems as there is on Gas, Diesel or Electric heating systems.

When free camping, my priority was a simple, efficient, low cost, affordable and easily available energy source.

I think this ticks all the boxes and can be simply installed by DIY enthusiasts and, also, easily improved upon.

This information does not relate to a commercially available unit, but a DIY assembled and combined system.

Thanks for your interest and feedback.

It works very well for me.

Cheers,

Because the intake air vent is at the other side of the bed...sucking in the colder air to the heater.

Ah ok so that would also cause to a certain degree circulation of the air also helping to distribute the warm air between intake and exhaust makes sense to me now
Thanks Woody

DickO,

Schematic diagram of connections would be great, this simple mod is great, I will be doing it with improvements as you suggest, I have a 2005 Jayco Heritage which from your photos is the same. I will post on here when I have finished for the Benitifit of fellow Grey Nomads.

Well done DickO, I wouldn't mind a copy of the schematic also. Thanks for putting this up
