Rear Bumper Bars


Hi - After reading the latest Grey Nomad News about rollovers and avoiding sway situations , got me thinking . I am not a fan of loading up the rear of my van for obvious reasons and what if i remove the heavy rear steel pipe bumper bar ! Do you guys have any thoughts on this . Lots of vintage vans did not have them . My rig is just legal Santa-Fe with Jayco poptop , economical priorities of providing safety margins-can't afford a "you beaut"electronic stability control .
