Low overpasses going into Melbourne

Hi All Just wondering if any body is aware of roads to avoid heading into Melbourne Ferry Terminal from Doncaster East due to low bridges. Somebody has warned us there are low overpasses heading into Melbourne that may not allow caravans enough overhead clearance? Cheers

Hi Ralphx2,

The only low bridge you may encounter is Montague Street,  that's about 3 meters.

Enjoy your travels around Tasmania,  great state.

Cheers Owen.

Montague St now has a "Gantry warning" system as well, think it is less than 3m, but with a little time on Google, or preplan with Tom Tom or whichever one you should not have any issues. cheersCraig

Thanks for the replies, we have a new van and don't want it streamlined just yet.
