Hi guy's I've just retired and want to hit the road next year. I have an old basic camper trailer that I would like sandblasted rust proofed and re-painted with I think Por15, I have read is the best paint to use. It's in pretty good condition has a little rust on the underside and small light patches elsewhere that would not be hard to remove, I would like to have this done rather buy a new one. Any of you folks know of a good place to take it too around the Perth area to get that done. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
there is a commercial spray paint in bushby st in Bellevue near midlands next to unit 2 at No11, don't know of pricing but they do really good work, I know the owner of the business next door who is a really great mechanic/ auto electrician

ps don't know how close that is to you
If you give Mike a ring on 9274 6606, He is the mechanic I know and I am sure he would be happy to supply the correct number for you. 40km in the scheme of things is nothing, when I was working up north I recall the boss drove from derby to broome to get a drill bit
cheers

I Googled it and found the spray painters first go. No 40 km's is not too far to get what I want, next barrier is can he do it, price and time frame the usual things. Handy to have that back up encase the phone number in the online yellow pages is wrong thanks for that.
Hi Blaze That did not work out, The guy was expecting me to do 3/4 of the work myself. Gave me some good info on POR 15 though. as it is only slightly rusting underneath, I will probably, get my grinder out with a brush attachment and roller the underside with POR 15. And parts of the exposed frame, should not take too long. Thanks for the help.
I had my camper trailer sand blasted inside, outside and underneath and fully powdercoated for $580 I thought at that price it was better than me sanding, priming & painting it.
Guy I talked to wanted $680 just to paint it. and I had to strip it take it for sandblasting pay for it and buy the paint for him to spray with. I must live in the wrong state.
