Hi, I need to fit a monitor for my breakaway batt to comply with NSW road law.  does anyone have an opinion on the wireless as apposed to hard wired, thanks.

I have the wireless battery monitor fitted in our ute. Saves putting holes in the panel to mount it, just 2 sided self adhesive tape. All works OK for me.

Hi Alaska welcome to the forum, being in NSW I had a breakaway monitor fitted by an Auto electrician only last week, having a new vehicle I was worried about how unsightly this thing was going to be when mounted beneath my dash. I am completely happy with the installation (other than the $400 cost) - people would have trouble knowing it was there unless I pointed it out to them. I don't know a real lot about the wireless version even though I'd heard that they were available I didn't really follow up on them.
