Electric drop down bed

hinthere,

we we have an Avan Ovation Motorhome with an electric drop down bed (chain mechanism) above a club lounge.

Its a a great layout, BUT - tonight for the third time, the bed dropped/missed on one corner and is now not level. It has only just come back from repairs, and I got one night of use out of it before it happened again.

This will mean weeks (last time it was months) before I can get it to the tech and maybe a need for a whole day or more for the repair.

Its very upsetting and frustrating.

Does anyone have any comments or suggestions?

Hi
I have been doing a bit of research on these beds as I am thinking of putting one in our motorhome.
When you say the corner has dropped down, is it at the lowest position & does it have a stop for the bed to sit on that takes the weight?
If so, does this stop fold out as bed comes down then this may be sticking.

The other thing is is st only one corner & how much further does it come down, as I was under the impression that 2 corners are linked together.

a few questions I have asked but this will help me to try for a solution. I see nobody else has tried to helped.
