On our 6 month trip, Well, we are now in Adelaide at the beautiful Brown Creek Caravan Park after leaving Perth in late October. We are loving our touring but want to know where would be a good place to bunker down for the school holidays, like Christmas through to end of Jan. Looking for place away from crowds, cheap, will even work for caravan site. Location is open, somewhere East of Adelaide in Victoria maybe? Any recommendations? Thanks
Greens Lake - near Shepparton - look in the Get Togethers section on this forum, Greens has it's own sub-forum - free camp. Or Aysons Reserve, not far away from Greens, closer to Elmore. Nyah Trotting Track - on the Murray, 27k from Swan Hill (free). Lockington - nice little cheap caravan park there.
