GME TX 3500 UHF Radio

Does any one have one or have knowledge on how they perform?

Vaughan,

I have. Tx 3520 GME uhf.

I opted for that model as it is easily fitted in a small space as the head of the unit is separate to the main body of the radio. This model is ideal for a 200series Toyota as there is limited space where a radio may be fitted.
It allows the head to be fitted at console level and the main body of the unit is under the seat, in my case.
My choice of GME generally stems from years of use of GME products both in trucks and the marine environment. GME products have always, for me, been reliable and performed without problem.
There are cheaper UHF radios around but you will find it hard to go past a GME for reliability.

I have a TX 3510 and it works fine, although I've yet to hook up the wireless push-to-talk gizmo onto the steering wheel. This is my first UHF radio so I don't have any prior experience, but I'm happy with it.

Joe
