2017 is shaping up to be quite interesting
Permalink Closed

Gday...

I just love my 'fix' of GN forum every morning - specially techie threads. It really sets me up for the day ahead.

And it appears that to make sure my life, and spirit, are lifted each morning we have another topic to add to the list of WDH, generators, grey water, weights and electrical threads .... Gearbox Temps.

[edit: OH ... I nearly forgot-dud - Jayco and which 4x4 should be on that list too]

Roll on 2017 ... I can't wait for the to-ing and fro-ing banter, slings and arrows. I just might never get this grin off me face.

........ and then add to that the long-winded, time-worn, oft-repeated stories of "wot I did wif me life which is better than wot you did wif your life."

GEEZ ... ya wouldn't be dead for quids, would ya.

cheers - John

Don't forget the "legal" advice from the graduates of the Armchair University and general whinging about caravan parks and pension entitlements.

Gday...

SEE ! ! !

The list goes on and on ..... there should be grandys or loggys or some sort of award for threads.

The entertainment value is beyond calculation ... and it helps genuine advice to get lost in the murk.

I think some call that win win.

Ya definitely wouldn't be dead for quids.

cheers - John

I guess it's called diversity of opinion which everyone has and everyone thinks there way is the only way , you know " my way or the highway " we just have to learn to sift the wheat from the chaff and remember that some times it's better to turn and walk away than give your self a heart attack about it .
Don't want that quid I'd rather be alive

Yea.

And don't some bite.
You'd think they'd realise by now.
Life would be soooo boring if they didn't though hey.

PS.
People that know me, know I'm completely different to this one.
I just like to keep some lively is all. chuckle.

Oh
And the "my life. your life" thing.

It's interesting to know what some do, have done. in relation to others.
Including yourself.

There are some really Interesting people on the planet.
If you open up first. Normally. Others do too. and some really surprise you.

Learning about something different to what you've done. Been involved in all your life.
To Me.. Is worth the time taken, plus the interesting people met.

we're never too old to learn.

And hiding behind a keyboard all the time is so whatever.
Makes you think they are nothing. have done nothing. been nowhere.
Just hiding.

How can you be friendly to a keyboard???.

Try sharing. We do round a fire with a grog or two in us.
What's the difference.

LOL Macka - excuses for the way you treat people on here does not change the fact you are behaving like a dick.

I am quite aware that this post may get modified by an admin, or perhaps even get me a holiday from here.  But if it serves to highlight the pathetic way you have been behaving towards people, the horrible manner in which you speak to them - then all good with me.

Never nasty. Never abusive. Never swear at anybody or "call names".
Always have smile on face.
Both here and in real life.

Example on Pathetic way I behave.
OR horrible manner in which I Speak to someone please.........

Example??...........

Only rub certain type the wrong way. (some I rubbed from the other forum too).
That's their problem not mine.

That's half the fun.
A lot like it.

I'm me. Take it or leave it.
Nobody HAS to read anything I type, realistically.

and if it stirs you up.
So be it. It's your own fault
For reading in the first place.

Cindy normally pulls me back in line when I step over
(When pills play up)
So I count on her big stick. She'll let me know.
then the head gets pulled back in for a while.

Read. Don't read.
Reply. Don't reply.
it's up to ALL of us which we do or don't.
The thing is, to NEVER let it get you, or your knickers in a twist.

Just remember.
It's ALL Cyberspace. ALL with complete strangers.
Me. I could be male or female.
12yr, 50 or 80 yr old. English. French, or Lithuanian.
A bum living in a container somewhere. or somebody living in a 5 mill house .

Nobody knows.

Every one who posts here is able to express their opinion, popular or otherwise. We can agree or disagree. We might even be having our leg pulled from time to time, and by now we should be able to weave and duck the punches at our age.We can all become frustrated with poor or uninformed knowledge from some but often times these people are genuinely seeking assistance, and I think we should respect that.I too get frustrated with postings sometimes, but that is the way things are. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL POSTERS ON THIS FORUM AND THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT INTERESTING, INFORMATIVE AND AT TIMES CONTRAVERSIAL. I hate to live in a dull world. Ian

I just wanted to remind everyone that we created this forum to be a positive and friendly place to exchange advice, stories and experiences.  Differences of opinions are welcomed; however, please ensure that your posts address the topic, not the person who posted it.
Thanks everyone and best wishes to all for a happy new year!

Are you pining for a friends and foes listing like some other forums have?

Hmmmm, maybe I should start stocking up on popcorn.

Happy New Year to one and all, particularly to Webmistress Cindy. I've just achieved this year's goal of getting to the Burke & Wills Dig Tree, now I have to decide what will replace that at the top of the bucket list for 2017.

Cheers
Joe
