Hello, just joined, and introducing myself here. Turned 60 last year, and hoping to go places with my 2002 Jayco Freedom pop-top caravan. Not too much experience with caravans, but lots of exp. towing car trailers with heavy loads on them. I suppose the wind factor is one thing that is very different even if my trailers and my caravan weigh approx the same? Towing vehicle is a red Mitsubishi Triton. Maybe I'll meet some of you out there?
Welcome to the forums . Best way to learn is get out there and change, organise things that suit you . One thing if your not all that familiar with reversing . Practice a few 90* parking as most camping grounds will require it . Though it's great entertainment for other campers !' lol
And it's welcome from us two 2 Tigerchips2 sure you will have lots of fun in that combo

Hello all,
I have just joined the forum and have come to learn from you guys and share our journey as my wife and I are planning retirement for the end of 2017 or early next year.
I have one more project to finish off then I am free to join my wife in the next phase of our extraordinary life.
Blessed with two girls who have both moved out to begin their interdependent lives. We are a close family who are seperated by distance.
A nomadic life will allow my wife and I to visit our children who both work in remote outback locations.
Interdependence is a feature of our family we are keen to maintain.
Community and family are strengthened by supply and demand. Sharing our resources and knowledge makes us positively connected and better.
So thank you in advance for providing a forum that will allow us all to be better informed and better prepared to live extraordinary lives.
Kindest regards,
Stephen and Kathleen
Nomads in the making.
