UHF Frequency scan group

Hi, As a first time traveller of this great country, I was wondering if members could suggest what frequencies I should put into a scan group, e.g general call, chat, emergency, truckpies, etc. Thanks for your assistance

Welcome to the gang Peterv, enjoy here and out in the playground.

General call....9
Chat...move to a vacant chanel
Emergency....5&35
Truckies....40 but 29 along Pacific Hwy due to be close to another frequency.

Someone might pop up a list for you.

I scan all above plus a couple of others I like to scan. You can cal a trucky on 40 or 29 then if need be move down one etc.

Some states have 5&35 monitored by C.R.E.S.T. Citizens Radio Emergency Service Team. They are trained to liase with emergency services where needed. I set up and ran, 'Westernport Crest' many moons ago now.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Consider Ch 18, which is the Caravan & Campers Convoy Channel.

Is the Call Channel 9 or 11?
