Another newbie

Hi.  I am a newbie to the forum, but have been reading the newsletter for ages.

I am a retired lady, living in NZ (that small country across the ditch) and want to see more of Australia. I have family in Sydney but that is all I have seen. I am originally from South Africa and miss the wide open spaces and dusty roads. I want to buy a small second hand camper van and just wander.

All your comments are very interesting and I shall be reading the forum with interest.

Welcome.

Life is short and often ends unexpectedly - I suggest you do it ASAP.

Hi Two Gypsies welcome to the forum, I have also lived, worked and travelled in Southern Africa and I know that sense you get of being in wide open spaces. If you can imagine multiplying that a number of times you will get some idea of how you will feel when travelling in Australia especially the outback. As Mike already suggested don't keep delaying your decision or it may just end up being something else that you had wished you had done.

Happy travels
BB

G'day Two Gypsies,  and welcome to the forum.  Plenty of great advice and folks on here.  Don't forget to try out the two games - Who is This in the I digress section and Pick This Place in the general section.  'Pick this place' is a great way to find new places to explore.   smile
