I am within the vehicle legal weight for my 2006 Fiat Ducato Jayco Conquest motorhome
My motorhome has always been a bit unstable due to the sideways swaying On the bends I always slowed to about 10 KPH less than what the sign said, as I like to drive to the road and my vehicle conditions
I have recently had my rear leaf springs reset, and an extra third spring fitted They checked out my shockies, and said that they were OK My vehicle is now much more stable, I am happy to go around the bends at the sign speed
I will therefore recommend the upgrade, and also the people who performed the task, as I have just completed a ten thousand plus kilometre road trip

I have lost his card, and forgot his name, but I can say that he is a good bloke After I had paid, I asked that if a travelling Grey Nomad required spring work, and the vehicle had to be kept overnight, could they stay in their vehicle on his premises, as they would have no other accommodation
He said yes
The two pictures tell the story, you can see the different ride heights of the bump stop, before and after the modification
Hi Tony Bev
I have the same 2006 motorhome, have had it for 2 years, but only done a few short trips in 2017, i also found the stability average at best when cornering, so opted to fit an airbag system, have only done a few hundred Kās since fitting, but Iām very happy with the stability now, Airbag man make a kit specifically for the Fiat Ducato, didnāt need to drill any holes etc, straight bolt in, easily done in 3 hours.
