Would anyone know the height of a Toyota hiace hitop including the air vent on top. Keen to buy second hand camper van, but need to be sure it will fit in my shed. I have asked the Toyota dealership, but they aren't forthcoming. Thanks
Hi Homer and Marg. I have a hi top Hi Ace and it is 2.7 metres high.
I don't know whether some of them may vary in height so your best bet, if you find one that you are interested in would be to take a steel tape measure with you when you inspect.

I had a POP top Hi Ace yrs ago.
had double bed in roof rafters. Just threw up Sleep bag and snoring.
Mate had a Hi-Top.
He had to make bed up every night.
Mine used less fuel. didn't work so hard . and he couldn't go to places I could.
Only advantage he had, was he could stand up while walking front to rear.
But so could my 5 ft 1in wife. Hmmmm.
B, could in the Pop Top van too.
I always knocking my head. Hence ONLY full height vans for me.
I suggest measuring the car shed, then keep that measurement with you as you look at various units, as they may vary from camper to camper. Then measure each one as you view them to comp[are to the measurement you have taken.
At least that way you are not relying on information that may not be relevant, nor on some one else being accurate with the tape measure.

May I be one of the first to welcome you to the forum
I do not know the height of the vehicle you are looking for, but I am led to believe that they come in different sizes When second hand, some people could have put larger tyres on, or beefed up the suspension, making them slightly higher than, factory size
If you get hold of a piece of 20mm PVC pipe, (from Bunnings or similar shop) Cut it to the size of the height of the doorway, of your shed You could then cut this correct size in half, and carry a joiner, to bring it back to your doorway height This will help to carry it in your car boot
Take your measuring stick with you while looking at vehicles, you are interested in to compare heights
This may be better than measuring with a tape, as it would be a problem, if someone was to have made a mistake with the tape measure
