Very soon to be heading east from Perth. A week ago, I thought of having a roof top aircon fitted to my 1991 Mazda T3500 motorhome. I emailed 4 different companies here in Perth, re. fitting and pricing, etc.

Not one replied!!!!

Business must be great.

Shocking, isn't it!. At least you have 5 or 6 months to get one fitted before summer arrives.

They can only say no.

Apart from that. Over this side.
More choices. More competition
= Less price. Usually.

Had a similar situation a couple of years ago. I visited the dealer we purchased our van from to get a quote to fit a diesel heater. Price was about $700 roughly.

But could not accommodate us for 3 to 4 months. Yes so business must be great.Ended up in stalling the heater myself.

Moral of the story.

Saved heaps of $$$$$

and great satisfaction on my ability to install the heater.
