Camping near Inaminka

We are planning a trip to the Flinders Ranges in early September and will return home (Camden NSW) by travelling north to Inaminka, Camerons Corner and the Sturt National Park. Can anyone suggest suitable camping sites in the Inaminka Nature Reserve. We are self contained with an off road camper. Ideally we would like to be camped near water.

G'day adkel53 and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.  Not my side of this big country of ours so can't help much re your question.

And it's welcome from us two 2 adkel53
Just got back from there on Friday very interesting place very dry there now though, there are quit a few places to stay in the park ($) and a few free around . We based ourselves in hawker van park top spot too, as we have a 5th wheeler and drove about the Rangers did a flight from rawnsly park over wilpena pound . Some of the gorges n creeks are beautiful too, Parachilna gorge is quit spectacular.
Heaps of Emu n Roo's too .
If you go to hawker there is a art gallery there you must see $10 and I'm not a real painting art kinda guy but the panoramas there are breath taking , picture about a 60 ft X 60 X 25ft ft shed with a circular painting of the flinders ranges all around it , its fantastic .

Welcome to the gang adkel53, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I can't add any more as I haven't had my aluminium teepee in that area yet, sorry.

 Hi Adkel53

If you put Inaminka in the Search thingy it will bring up extra post about your subject also where you asked last time with very good information.

Enjoy your travels.
