With my upcoming trip across the Nullarbor, here's a few photos from some of my past trips across the old Eyre Highway in my volksy back in the 60's. I'll find more Eyre photos later.

Lance.

Those pictures certainly bring back memories, Lance

I was on that road (err track), in the 60's when there was 700 miles of dirt

The last time I went across that road, (err track) before it was bitumen, there was only 300 miles of dirt, but it started raining, and that 300 mile section, took me 10 hours to cross

We have just come over the Nullarbor for the fourth or fifth time, never when it was dirt though. It would have been an amazing trip - and I love the VDub -and least with the windows shut it would be dustproof - hahahaha! I love the trip across or back!

Thanks for sharing.
