Check out Pedders they do a lot of LC's - They did my Patrol 30mm lift and added air shockers.

Thanks but I have to raise the gvm  a tow ball weight of 270 that I can't do much about. Put the gvm 110kg over

We had our 200 upgraded at ARB we also had air assist bags in the rear springs which gave us 2inch lift .This upped our gvm to 3-8 everything is ok towing only little difficult getting in and out sometimes Hope this helps Safe travels TREVOR

Brian,
I have just been through the exercise with my Nissan.
Last year when I bought our van, I opted to add air bags to the rear springs instead of using a WDH. Recently when I discovered that I was illegal, I saw an engineer who said "I had to spend some money on the suspension". I said I had already fitted the bags - he said that was ok & gave me a new compliance plate & took several hundred dollars "for the look".
My GVM is now 10% more than it was (would like more, but them's the rules)!

My car already had a 2" lift kit on it when I bought it.

Hi mate, yep I have an OME upgrade on our 200ttd. it is raised 2" and has 200kg springs and shocks on the rear also I fitted air bags but the reality is the air bags are not used and sit at 5psi. My van has a tow ball weight of 280kg and I don't use WDH.

Cheers Warren

Grey Fox . Yes I had this done on our new 200 series late last year . Used Lovells upgrade 3.800 with 2 inch lift kit . Very happy with the result.A little stiff at first but now after 11000 Ks it's loosening up . We tow a heavy van and have also increased the tow capacity.

You and missus better go on a crash diet quick mate..

All you people doing lifts and coils.

Should think of doing the lift 2in\3 in. Whatever.

and use "Progressive" lift coils on rears. and next size UP in lift weight\Wire Dia.

With 2in lift. 3 in lift SHOCKS.  3 in lift , 4in Lift Shocks.

Putting semi performance shocks in there. rather than std.

It stiffens the action, lifts the whole rig up. Stops some of the roll.

On the road with trlr on.

PLUS.

The first few inches of travel is "softer" than std.

till the full coils take over with the load.

At what would be the normal adjusted lift height.

They amazing.

I've done it on several vehicles.

INPROVED every one.  AS A TOURER.  Dangerous as a performance veh.

They roll too much on the rocks etc. Don't ask me how I know ok.

Performance blokes will tell you the same.  Cruising only.
